  • Doriane to make her first official appearance in support to the team at the Monaco E-Prix double-header
  • Strategic focus on GEN4 development signals commitment to the future of electric racing.
Citroën Racing is proud to announce the appointment of rising French motorsport star Doriane Pin as official Development Driver. This strategic move underscores the team’s commitment to nurturing elite young talent while strengthening its technical and competitive edge in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
Doriane will make her first official appearance alongside the team during the prestigious Monaco E-Prix double-header race weekend, where she will represent Citroën Racing for the first time.
This announcement follows a strong run of performances for the team, including a podium in the first race in Berlin followed by an impressive qualifying performance on the Sunday, further building momentum ahead of Monaco.
At an early stage in what is already a remarkable career, Doriane represents the next generation of elite French drivers. Her appointment carries particular significance for Citroën as a proudly French manufacturer, reinforcing its commitment to developing national talent on the global stage of electric motorsport.
Crucially, she will also support the development and refinement of the team’s upcoming GEN4 Formula E package, helping to optimise performance, energy management systems, and software calibration ahead of the next generation of the championship. Therefore, she will also have multiples opportunities to drive in Formula E’s cars in the following months. In a series where efficiency and innovation are decisive, the Development Driver role is essential to gaining a competitive advantage.

Citroën Racing Development Driver Doriane Pin said:
‘I’m really looking forward to this new role and to joining this project. Formula E is a rapidly growing championship, and it’s both exciting to watch and to drive. I’ve already started working on the GEN4 simulator with the team, which has been a great way of understanding the systems and the driving approach.
As a French driver, it’s a special feeling to join Citroën. It’s a brand with a strong motorsport heritage, and being part of that story means a lot. I’m excited to get started and to build something together.”

Citroën Racing Formula E Team Principal Cyril Blais said:
“Doriane is one of the most promising and complete young drivers we have seen in recent years. Beyond her results, she brings strong technical insight and a clear ability to translate feedback into performance gains, which is critical in Formula E where we have limited development time. Her involvement in the refinement of our GEN4 package will be extremely valuable as we prepare for the future of the championship. Just as importantly, having a talented young French driver join the team is a proud moment for all of us.”
