CITROËN RACING FORMULA E TEAM HEADS TO TOKYO FOR A CRUCIAL NIGHT-TIME DOUBLE-HEADER
· The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship continues its Asian tour with Rounds 14 and 15 in Tokyo.

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship closes its Asian leg this weekend with Rounds 14 and 15 of Season 12 in Tokyo. With only a handful of races remaining before the end of the championship, every point scored will be crucial in the battle across all championship standings.
Following an encouraging weekend in Shanghai, highlighted by a perfectly executed strategy and a return to the podium, Citroën Racing Formula E Team heads into the next event aiming to build on that momentum on a circuit with very different characteristics.
Measuring 2.575 kilometers, the Tokyo Street Circuit will host the second night-time double-header of the season. Featuring long straights, heavy braking zones and more technical sections, the layout promises highly strategic racing where energy management will once again play a decisive role.
The weekend will feature two distinct race formats. The opening race will be contested under the Pit Boost format, requiring a mandatory 30-second pit stop to recharge the battery by an additional 10%, combined with a single Attack Mode activation, adding another layer of strategic complexity. The second race will return to the traditional Formula E format with the standard use of Attack Mode, requiring teams to adapt their approach from one day to the next.
A unique aspect of the event is that both races will take place under the lights, presenting an additional challenge for both drivers and teams. Evolving track temperatures and visibility conditions could influence tyre management, energy strategy and race execution throughout the weekend.
